I was planning to sell the Z to get into another chassis, which has been the plan for awhile when the opportunity arose. When that time came and I listed it for sale, I realized that I couldn't replace the amount of car for the money. It was as much of an emotional attachment as anything else. I had to back out of a deal to sell my Z and was fortunate that the other party was understanding about it. Despite the insane amount of criticism I've received for my asking price (for whatever reason I'll never understand), I had plenty of offers and just couldn't pull the trigger to let her go.
The decision to sell wasn't based on anything but that primarily, but it certainly didn't help that this community has gone to shit in the past decade. We can thank folks like Lawrence for that.
